It is essential that silk be used as this material is the best suited; it is both gentle to the skin and allows it to breath. Also it is strong and lightweight, a bonus for the softy, and although my diagram shows silk ropes, broad-width ribbon is probably more suitable.

I think you will find that this is the cheapest way around purchasing a ‘love swing’ as an additional silk strand can be placed beneath the buttock, also lopped through 2 x looped screws then to the wall.
